Pick customers orders accurately using pick lists

Verify product quantities, item numbers and condition before packing or staging

Prepare orders for shipping, delivery, or customer pick-up

Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts

Maintain organized and clean warehouse aisles, shelves and staging areas

Assist with receiving, stocking and inventory counts as required

Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies or safety concerns to supervisors

Support other warehouse functions as required

Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols

Deliver customer orders safely and professionally

Verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures when required

Ensure deliveries are completed on schedule

Maintain accurate delivery documentation

Communicate delays or issues to management promptly

We have an immediate opening for a dedicated and highly motivated full-time Warehouse and Delivery Associate at our Distributor Center in Paradise, NL.

Position Overview

The Warehouse & Delivery Associate is responsible for accurately selecting, picking, packing, loading and delivery of customer orders while maintaining a safe, clean, organized and efficient warehouse environment. This role combines warehouse operations with local delivery responsibilities, requiring strong attention to detail, efficiency, reliability, safety conscience and excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Order Picking

  • Pick customers orders accurately using pick lists
  • Verify product quantities, item numbers and condition before packing or staging
  • Prepare orders for shipping, delivery, or customer pick-up
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Maintain organized and clean warehouse aisles, shelves and staging areas
  • Assist with receiving, stocking and inventory counts as required
  • Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies or safety concerns to supervisors
  • Support other warehouse functions as required

Delivery

  • Deliver customer orders safely and professionally

  • Solid understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations
  • Ability to problem solve, identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to be on your feet all day, with heavy lifting and operation of warehouse machinery
  • Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures when applicable
  • Ability to work individually or as a part of a team
  • Safe work practices

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse, inventory control and distribution centre experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • Forklift certification considered an asset
