Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Fast Food Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service operations within a fast-paced restaurant setting. The position requires a focus on food safety, sanitation, and delivering a positive dining experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and courteously, taking their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards and safety guidelines.
  • Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with health regulations.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Assist with food stocking, inventory management, and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments, giving change, and upselling items.
  • Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
  • Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required. This position offers an engaging work environment where team members can grow their skills in the food industry while providing exceptional service to customers.
