Job Overview
The Pharmacy Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. This position involves assisting pharmacists with various tasks, ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy, and providing exceptional service to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Duties

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols at all times.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.

Skills

  • Knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively within the healthcare environment.
  • Strong computer competence and software proficiency is mandatory
  • Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with medication administration procedures is essential for patient safety.
