Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FOH (Front of House) Supervisor to lead our customer service team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves supervising daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience in the food industry is highly desirable, along with a background in hospitality, food handling, and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service flow and uphold quality standards.
  • Supervise and motivate team members, including interviewing and onboarding new staff.
  • Coordinate food preparation and serving processes to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Manage POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Enforce food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Lead by example in hospitality standards, demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and professionalism at all times.

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety practices.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
  • Experience in team management, including interviewing, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Knowledge of hospitality operations, including hotel or barista experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Prior experience in restaurant management or food industry roles is preferred to ensure a comprehensive understanding of front-of-house operations.

Pay: $19.50-$21.00 per hour
