Weekend Studio Lead – Campus Play Studio

We’re looking for someone who can run a room, lead a team, and genuinely connect with people.

The Campus Play Studio is looking for a hands-on, confident Weekend Studio Lead to run the day-to-day experience of our space.

This is a leadership role. You are responsible for the flow of the studio, the support of the team, and the overall guest experience.

At Campus Play, we are not just running a play space we are creating a place where families feel welcomed, seen, and excited to return. This role oversees the full experience of the building, including both the play studio and Little Perks café. The Weekend Studio Lead sets the tone through energy, presence, and leadership.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Studio

  • Oversee the full studio experience, including open play, birthday parties, workshops, and the Little Perks café
  • Ensure the space is clean, organized, safe, and ready for guests at all times
  • Manage the flow of the day and keep everything running smoothly and on time
  • Support and oversee the flow of the Little Perks café, ensuring alignment between café and play experiences
  • Step in wherever needed — this is a hands-on role

Lead the Team

  • Provide clear direction and support to Play Hosts and Café team members
  • Set the tone for energy, professionalism, and teamwork
  • Adjust staff positions based on volume and needs of the day
  • Support and coach team members in real time
  • Lead by example in how to connect with guests

Create an Exceptional Guest Experience

  • Be the main point of contact for families
  • Create a warm, welcoming environment from the moment guests walk in
  • Ensure every guest feels acknowledged and taken care of
  • Handle questions or concerns with confidence and care
  • Create moments that feel personal, not transactional

Stay Organized & Think Ahead

  • Manage multiple experiences at once without losing attention to detail
  • Make quick decisions and adapt as the day changes
  • Identify problems and solve them without needing direction

Who You Are

  • A natural leader who is confident, positive, and takes initiative
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Calm under pressure and strong at problem-solving
  • Energetic and engaging — you genuinely enjoy working with people
  • Strong communicator with both adults and children

Experience

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience (required)
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • Experience working with children or families is an asset
  • First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)

Position Details

  • Part-time, permanent
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Weekends required (with opportunity for additional shifts)
