Full job description
Inventa is a leader in the design, creation, and execution of innovative brand experiences, from large-scale events and national experiential tours to grassroots local activations. Now in our 29th year, we remain at the forefront of experiential marketing and the event industry.
We are looking for energetic Brand Supervisors and Team Leads. This is your chance to lead high-energy event teams and deliver unforgettable gaming experiences at major events. We’re seeking confident, detail-oriented leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to create exceptional guest experiences while motivating their teams. If you're passionate about gaming, events, and creating memorable moments, this is a summer opportunity you don’t want to miss. Please note that staff will be hired based on event location, and no travel is required.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading brand staff on-site, overseeing event-day logistics, managing schedules and team communication, supporting set-up and tear-down, troubleshooting on-site challenges, and ensuring activations run smoothly from start to finish.
Team Leader Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Brand Ambassador (Inventa and stakeholder) accountability and responsibilities.
- Take leadership of the team and step in when the Supervisor is not present.
- Support the Supervisor with delegated operational and administrative tasks, acting as a reliable support to execute priorities efficiently.
- Act as a key point of contact for Brand Ambassadors and on-site contacts/vendors during shifts, communicating respectfully, clearly, and efficiently with both the accounts team and in-field staff.
- Provide guidance and direction to Brand Ambassadors, ensuring smooth daily operations while fostering a highly team-oriented environment.
- Reinforce and deliver key messaging aligned with client objectives, leveraging a strong knowledge of games and product details.
- Monitor staff performance, readiness, and engagement throughout the shift, offering coaching, feedback, and follow-ups as needed.
- Proactively anticipate team and operational needs, taking initiative before direction is required.
- Support the creation and management of efficient break schedules to maintain strong coverage and team performance.
- Help de-escalate operational issues calmly and professionally, escalating unresolved matters, suggestions, or concerns to the Supervisor as appropriate.
- Ensure proper use and management of company assets, including reporting damages, tracking inventory, and maintaining organization.
- Build strong, positive relationships among team members and with Supervisors and stakeholders.
- Safeguard the well-being of staff at all times, maintaining a supportive and respectful team environment.
- Lead and support setup and teardown, ensuring all assets are handled safely, responsibly, and stored properly.
- Remain adaptable and composed under pressure, maintaining efficiency and professionalism in fast-paced environments.
Supervisor responsibilities
- Maintain timely flow of communication within field representatives, managers, and Inventa departments to ensure all program objectives are met and ultimately surpassed.
- Maintain excellent communication with the Account Coordinator/Executive on the status of program activities.
- Leverage strong attention to detail, organization, and clear, respectful communication to collaborate efficiently with the accounts team and in-field staff and stakeholders while ensuring accuracy in all deliverables. Demonstrate strong knowledge of games and product details to support program success and team alignment.
- Adapt quickly in dynamic environments while remaining calm under pressure, making informed decisions that support both team performance and client expectations. Provide respectful and efficient guidance to staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture.
- Responsible for driving, parking, and picking up/dropping off rental vehicles.
- Complete all weekly program reports, including the review of daily recaps for the team in a timely and efficient manner (photos, metrics, comments, highlights, lowlights, and staff feedback), ensuring all deadlines are met with accuracy.
- Ensure the intellectual property and proprietary information of the company are protected, and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Ensure team evaluations are completed for all field representatives and submitted on time in collaboration with Account Coordinator and Executive
- Maintain a strong on-site presence and team focus to support execution and performance.
- Delegate tasks effectively among team members to ensure smooth operations while motivating the team through long work stretches to keep everyone focused, engaged, and on task—particularly in high-demand environments such as Toronto activations.
- Create and manage break schedules (if not managed by Team Lead) to maintain coverage.
- Make quick, informed decisions regarding logistics, footprint, giveaways, and operational adjustments, with the ability to action changes quickly and accurately while balancing team and client needs.
- Actively participate across all execution phases, including set-up, teardown, and maintaining site cleanliness.
- Step in to cover Brand Ambassador roles during breaks as needed to maintain high-quality operations.
- Demonstrate strong technical comfort with systems and tools required for reporting, communication, and program execution.
