Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Brokerage Technical CSR / TSR to support our back-office operations.

This is not a sales role. The position is focused on insurer portal work, policy transaction processing, documentation control, and internal file compliance review.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on insurance brokerage experience and understand how brokerage files, insurer portals, policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and supporting documents are handled in daily operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and new business documentation
  • Complete insurer portal transactions accurately, including notes, uploads, forms, and follow-ups
  • Review policy documents, applications, signed forms, invoices, pink slips, certificates, and related paperwork
  • Check files for missing signatures, missing documents, incorrect information, incomplete notes, underwriting issues, and processing errors
  • Follow up with brokers, CSRs, producers, and insurance companies to resolve missing or unclear information
  • Maintain accurate records in the brokerage management system
  • Support internal workflow control, EDI/download follow-up, document filing, and post-issuance review
  • Help ensure brokerage files meet internal procedures, insurer requirements, and compliance standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of insurance brokerage experience required
  • Experience with insurer portals required
  • Experience with policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and document processing required
  • Familiarity with Applied, ARS, Compu-Quote, company portals
  • RIBO licence preferred, but not required for the right technical candidate
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to follow procedures and complete work in a timely manner
  • Comfortable reviewing documents and identifying missing or incorrect information
  • Good written English communication skills
  • Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset, but not required

Important

This role is best suited for someone who already has real brokerage processing experience. Candidates without insurance brokerage or insurer portal experience may not be suitable for this position.
