About Us: Centini Restaurant has proudly served Calgary for over 23 years, establishing itself as a trusted destination for authentic Italian cuisine and the industry leader in corporate and private dining. Located in downtown Calgary, we focus on delivering high quality made from scratch cuisine and offering exceptional service in a welcoming environment.
Position: Fine Dining Server
Job Responsibilities:
- Seamless and Unobtrusive Service: Provide attentive yet discreet service, anticipating guests' needs to enhance their dining experience.
- Culinary Knowledge: Recommend menu items, wine pairings, and daily specials with confidence, adding value to our guests' dining experience.
- Efficient Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with our kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
- Exceptional Communication: Engage with guests in a knowledgeable and courteous manner, addressing inquiries and special requests promptly.
- Order Accuracy: Take precise food and beverage orders, process payments accurately, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Fine Dining Experience: Previous experience in upscale or fine dining settings is preferred.
- Personal Grooming: A well-groomed appearance reflecting our restaurant's professional standards.
- Italian Cuisine Knowledge: Familiarity with Italian cuisine, wines, and spirits.
- Service Excellence: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering knowledgeable and discreet service.
- Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team Player: Positive attitude, proactive approach, and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Smart Serve Certification: Preferred, but not mandatory.
