Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Weekend Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! This role offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your food preparation and cooking skills in a dynamic environment. As a Weekend Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional food service to our guests. Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
  • Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Serve food to guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring timely delivery
  • Assist with food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
  • Follow all food safety regulations and restaurant policies to ensure a safe dining environment
  • Support team members during busy periods by assisting with meal preparation and service as needed

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within the food industry or restaurant settings
  • Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
  • Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy weekend shifts
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and meal preparation techniques
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
