Full-Time Property Managers

Community First Developments Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Property Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Supervising Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential portfolio, ensuring excellence in property management, resident services, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated housing professional who is passionate about serving co-operative and non-profit communities while making a meaningful impact on residents' quality of life.

What You'll Bring

  • 3–5 years of property management experience (required)
  • Strong knowledge of Co-op and Non-Profit Housing operations, governance, maintenance, and financial management
  • Experience administering Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) programs, waitlist management, and leasing/marketing vacant units
  • Working knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations, including the Residential Tenancies Act, Fire Code, Building Code, and LTB proceedings
  • Experience with rent collection, arrears management, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing staff
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings as required

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily property operations and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, legislation, and industry standards
  • Manage annual budgets, accounts payable and receivable, rent collection, and financial reporting
  • Coordinate building maintenance, capital projects, contractors, and service providers
  • Lead, coach, and support maintenance and administrative staff to drive operational excellence
  • Administer RGI programs, vacancies, resident relations, and occupancy management
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, Boards, stakeholders, and community partners
  • Maintain current knowledge of housing regulations, best practices, and industry developments
