The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) has 1 exciting student opportunity from September 30, 2026 to December 31, 2026 within the Operations branch at CATSA Headquarters.

Student, Operations Systems and RAIC
Number of Positions: 1
Term: September 26, 2026 to December 31, 2026
Schedule: 20 hours / week
Location: Ottawa HQ
Salary: $18.15 to $30.20 / hourly rate dependent on level of education.
Language Requirement: English essential
Eligibility List: CATSA will use this opportunity to establish a list of candidates eligible to fill subsequent vacancies. The eligibility list may be used to staff other student positions with similar responsibilities and qualifications.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Fulfill service support requests, including shipping and receiving program consumables
- Test, configure and track program support equipment based on documented procedures
- Track inventory usage
- Liaise with internal and external clients, to ensure program support effectiveness and efficiency
- Develop working relationships with the Operations Systems Team
- Execute assigned project tasks as requested in collaboration with the Operations Systems Team
What you need to succeed:
To qualify for the position, you must have:
- Enrolled in a college diploma or a university degree relevant to the duties of the position;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
- Experience in providing client support
Skills and abilities:
- Comfortable learning new technologies and skills
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and multi-task
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong customer focus and professional manner
To qualify and to be considered for this employment, you must:
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain a reliability security clearance;
- Be a full-time or part-time CEGEP, College or University student; and
- Be returning to full-time or part-time studies in the next academic year.
