Job Summary

Are you a storyteller who lives and breathes digital culture? Velvet Switch Inc. is looking for a Social Media and Content Specialist to join our team on a part-time/freelance basis, ideal for someone who wants flexible, ongoing work across our client roster. If you love blending lifestyle, hospitality, and brand storytelling, and you know how to turn creative concepts into content that actually performs, we want to hear from you.

Duties

→ Work across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, ensuring consistent brand presence and storytelling for each client.

→ Develop and manage content calendars, writing platform-specific copy across social, web, and newsletters.

→ Capture and edit high-quality content, including photos, video, and graphics, with a strong focus on design and storytelling.

→ Drive community engagement through real-time posting, monitoring comments, DMs, and mentions, while supporting audience growth.

→ Support execution of campaigns, promotions, and partnerships, and help identify new content opportunities and trends.

Requirements

→ 3–5 years of experience in social media or content marketing, with strong writing and creative skills.

→ Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and content capture/editing on phone or camera.

→ A strong portfolio showcasing your design, photography/video, and storytelling skills.
