Full job description

What you’ll do

  • Greet customers and check them in for rustproofing, glass, and shop work
  • Answer phones, take messages, and book appointments
  • Help with basic service questions (what we do, timing, pricing ranges you’re trained on)
  • Take payments and issue receipts
  • Keep the front counter and waiting area tidy
  • Update simple customer/job info as directed
  • Light admin: messages, appointment list, supplies at the counter
  • Support the team during peak volume (fall/winter rush)

What you need

  • Clear phone manner and comfortable with walk-in customers
  • Reliable, on-time, calm when it gets busy
  • Basic computer skills (email, scheduling, POS if trained)
  • Able to stand/walk at the counter; light lifting of paperwork/supplies only
  • Previous reception, retail, or shop-counter experience preferred

Schedule

  • Part-time, 1–3 days per week
  • Days flexible around shop needs
  • Season focus: August through January (peak). Possibility of ongoing part-time after if it works on both sides

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
