Overview

We are seeking a professional and organized Front Office Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, manage administrative tasks efficiently, and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in medical or dental offices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Perform data entry with accuracy into QuickBooks and other relevant systems
  • Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents
  • Provide excellent customer support via phone, email, or in person
  • Manage front desk operations including checking in patients or clients and processing payments if applicable
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Proofread correspondence and documents for accuracy before distribution
  • Support bookkeeping tasks related to office operations

Qualifications

  • Previous office experience, particularly in medical or dental settings preferred
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry software like QuickBooks and Sage
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
  • Clerical experience including filing, proofreading, and administrative support
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Knowledge of medical or dental office procedures is a plus but not required

Pay: $15.53-$26.02 per hour
