Permanent PT Receptionist (4PM - 12AM) THURSDAY - SUNDAY

START DATE: IMMEDIATELY

Seniors Retirement Community, Vancouver

Your Personality: You are a hardworking, time-flexible, conscientious Team Player. You have a caring empathetic nature and you enjoy helping people. You have a genuine interest in working with seniors and are understanding of their needs and limitations. You have a pleasant helpful demeanor but are also able to be firm and not get sidetracked with resident politics or personal requests. You are able to deal with high-pressure/stressful situations in a calm manner. You are well presented and polite.

Your Ability: You are a fluent English speaker with a clear telephone voice. You are a multi-tasker, able to prioritize and manage a busy reception area and associated concierge duties [including laundry]. You are proficient in Microsoft Office [Word & Excel] and able to manage administrative tasks and general office duties, including data input and cash balancing with minimal supervision. You are a Team Player and able to share 'the load' without drama and discourse.

What would put you ahead of other applicants: All of the above criteria, prior experience in a similar role. Evidence of past involvement with Seniors. Current First Aide Certification [Basic or higher], recent Criminal Records Check and ‘Serving It Right’.
