Job Vacancy: Receptionist

Department: SR - Scheduling/Reception

Position: Part-Time

Requirement: Education and Experience

· Diploma from a recognized College in Medical Office Administration and/or Diploma from a recognized College in Office Administration

· Experience working in the health care field is recommended

· Must display exceptional customer service skills

· Must have strong computer skills and multi-line telephone experience

· Demonstrates a high level of accuracy for detail-oriented data entry

· Ability to work in a busy environment with minimal supervision

· Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and a self-starter

· Works well in a team environment and actively supports colleagues

· Pleasant telephone manners and knows how to manage patient complaints

· Demonstrates an upbeat attitude and enjoys working with the public

· Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination is required

Immunization Requirements:

Before beginning employment at LXA, all new hires will be required to:

  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis;
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);
  • Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health’s current definition of being fully vaccinated.

The selected candidate must be able to work all shifts and at all sites. All candidates interested in the above position and who possess the required qualifications and experience may apply.
