Overview

Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Patient Coordinator/Dental Admin and become the vital link between our patients and exceptional dental care! In this energetic role, you’ll be the friendly face at the front desk, coordinating patient appointments, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentrix .
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, provide information, and direct calls appropriately.
  • Verify patient insurance details, explain treatment plans, and handle financial transactions with clarity and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMRs), ensuring all patient information is current and confidential.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth daily operations at the front desk and administrative areas.
  • Assist with billing processes, insurance claims, and follow-up communications to optimize practice revenue.
  • Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies to support overall office efficiency.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office environment is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology helps in accurately communicating with patients and insurance providers.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) or electronic health records (EHRs) is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-line phone systems while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • Prior medical office experience or administrative experience in a healthcare setting is beneficial.
  • Excellent organizational skills combined with a friendly demeanor will enable you to thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
