Full job description

Taradale Dental is looking for Dental Administrator with minimum of 1 year of Dental Office experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner at the front desk
  • Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
  • Maintain electronic dental records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
  • Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage with insurance companies
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers
  • Discuss treatment plans with patients
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry, and taking payments

Experience

  • Dental office experience is a MUST (1+ years )
  • Experience with Dentrix will be an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
