Kingsway Eye Care Family Optometry is a modern, full-scope optometry clinic dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced technology, clinical excellence, and personalized service.

We are currently seeking an Optometric Assistant / Patient Services Coordinator to join our friendly, professional, and patient-focused team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and is eager to grow within the field of eye care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and electronically
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments for seven Optometrists, Vision Therapy services, and Dry Eye Therapy treatments
  • Assist with in-office Dry Eye Therapy treatments (training provided)
  • Support patients throughout their visit with professionalism, care, and attention to detail
  • Manage patient records, inquiries, and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily clinic operations
  • Adapt to evolving clinic needs and workflows

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional, friendly, and patient-centered approach
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable learning new technology and software systems
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and typing skills
  • Interest in healthcare, wellness, and patient care
  • Previous administrative or medical office experience preferred
