Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full time & Part time Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to providing exceptional service to our patients.

Hours will be:

Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays & Thursdays 8:00am - 5:00pm

Fridays - 8:00am - 4:00pm

Saturdays - 8:00am to 3:00pm with the exception of long weekends (Office is closed Friday - Monday all long weekends)!

Duties

  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
  • Prepare patients for treatments and procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
  • Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient operations within the practice.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with dental software Curve Dental is a plus.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
