<Job Overview>
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is for part time hours with a minimum of 13 hours weekly. You will support pharmacy operations in preparing medications to be dispensed. Potential days of work include Monday to Saturday.

<Duties>

  • Entering prescriptions into pharmacy software, work with scheduling software to set appointment times, and answering phone requests for appointments and medication refills
  • Communicate information between pharmacist, customers/patients to coordinate preparation of medications and visits or appointments
  • Compare and update inventory for over-the-counter and prescription medication products
  • Prepare some compounded medications and compliance (blister) packaging of prescriptions

<Experience>

  • At least six months of previous healthcare related experience is required ie. pharmacy, hospital, medical office
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, or patient facing roles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
