Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Dental Assistant to join our friendly dental practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about providing exceptional patient care and supporting dental team operations. Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies
  • Manage patient records efficiently using Paradigm software
  • Communicate dental terminology clearly to patients and team members
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area in compliance with health regulations
  • Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of dental procedures and protocols
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist is advantageous
  • Certification or training in dental assisting preferred but not required
  • Ability to work part-time hours: Mondays 9AM -7PM, Saturdays 9AM-3PM
