Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Knowledge of dental software such as Paradigm, along with experience in orthodontics will be highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to grow professionally within a supportive team committed to excellence in dental health services.

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
  • Take dental radiographs using CAD technology when required
  • Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards
  • Educate patients on oral health care practices and treatment plans

Experience

  • Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential
  • Certification in dental assisting; on-the-job training will be provided for qualified candidates interested in expanding their skills

Pay: $18.00-$34.53 per hour
