What You'll Do

As an Optometric Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting both our doctors and patients throughout their visit.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the Optometrist with patient care, including pre-testing and preliminary examinations.
  • Prepare patients for specialized Dry Eye, Myopia Management, and Specialty Contact Lens appointments.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
  • Schedule appointments and manage daily patient flow.
  • Welcome patients and provide an outstanding customer service experience.
  • Process insurance claims, billing, and other front desk administrative duties.
  • Educate patients on eyewear, contact lenses, Dry Eye products, and Myopia Management solutions.
  • Support retail sales of eyewear and specialty products.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient clinic operations.
