Position Summary

Aburi Hana is seeking a Kitchen Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations by preparing high-quality food while maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety. This role is well suited for a dependable, detail-oriented cook with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within a professional kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and proper food handling in all work areas
  • Assist with prep, production, and service during busy periods
  • Support inventory organization and assist with ordering as needed (or willingness to learn)
  • Perform kitchen steward duties, including cleaning stations, equipment, and work areas
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated
  • Lift, move, and organize products and supplies up to 50 lbs
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to assist with or learn ordering and inventory processes
  • Valid Food Safe certification
  • Previous Asian cooking experience is an asset, due to ingredients used
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
