Full job description

By The Yard Landscaping and Construction LTD is Hiring!

Come join our team! We are currently looking for full-time labourers to join our landscaping and property maintenance crews.

Our landscape crews handle projects from the ground up, including:

  • Grading and site preparation
  • Brick and paving stone work
  • Sod installation
  • Artificial turf installation
  • Fencing
  • Deck construction
  • General landscaping and much more

We also provide property maintenance throughout the summer, including:

  • Grass cutting
  • String trimming
  • Weeding
  • Hedge trimming
  • General property and yard maintenance

Experience is not required, but previous experience in landscaping, construction, lawn care, or property maintenance is preferred.

Starting wage: $18–$20+ per hour, depending on experience.

Winter Work Available

We also offer full-time and part-time winter employment.

Our winter work includes commercial and residential snow removal. Employees may be responsible for clearing sidewalks, walkways, entrances, driveways, parking areas, and other areas using:

  • Snow blowers
  • Backpack blowers
  • Shovels
  • Other snow-removal equipment as required

Applicants should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and performing physically demanding work.

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be able to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Have a valid driver's licence
  • Have reliable transportation to and from the workplace
  • Have a personal cell phone
  • Be dependable and willing to work as part of a team

Starting wage: $18–$20+ per hour based on experience
Benefits available after 3 months
