Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice for Sundays More hours and days can be given if needed

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Cleardent
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries and appointment requests
  • Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accordingly
  • Collect payments and process billing transactions accurately
  • Maintain organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and correspondence
  • Ensure the reception area remains clean, welcoming, and well-organized
  • Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth daily operations

Experience

  • Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental office setting is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of dental office software such as Cleardent preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records systems
  • Office experience handling front desk responsibilities in a medical or healthcare environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including proficiency with multi-line phone systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Previous experience working with insurance verification and billing processes is a plus

Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
