Role Overview

We are seeking a Medical Aesthetician with 2+ years of experience who is confident working independently, managing full client journeys, and delivering exceptional results across a range of skin types (Fitzpatrick I–VI).

This is a hands-on role for a proactive, self-directed professional who takes initiative, stays productive during downtime, and contributes to both client outcomes and overall clinic operations.

This is a part-time position, with the potential for transition into a full-time role based on performance and clinic needs.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Treatments & Safety

  • Perform advanced treatments (including: Laser hair removal, Pigmented, vascular, and tattoo removal treatments, Pico laser and skin rejuvenation therapies (e.g., laser toning, Genesis), Fractional CO₂ resurfacing, RF microneedling & microneedling, Chemical peels, HydraFacial and advanced facials)
  • Conduct comprehensive consultations, skin assessments with skin analyzer, and customized treatment planning
  • Provide detailed pre- and post-treatment care education
  • Operate and calibrate devices in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Follow all safety protocols, infection control standards, and clinic policies
  • Identify contraindications and escalate concerns appropriately

Client Care & Outcomes

  • Deliver a polished, welcoming, and professional client experience at all touchpoints
  • Build strong client relationships and trust through education and results
  • Set realistic expectations and deliver personalized treatment plans
  • Capture and manage standardized before-and-after photography
  • Proactively rebook, follow up, and support long-term treatment outcomes
  • Handle client concerns professionally, with strong service recovery skills
  • Educating clients when and how to use each product, possible benefits, and reactions they may experience and what that means in their skin health journey.

Client Experience & Front Desk Support

  • Client check-in and check-out
  • Appointment booking and coordination
  • Answering phone, email, social media, and walk-in inquiries
  • Participate in clinic events and promotional initiatives
  • Educate clients about promotions, memberships, services and products as part of client retention strategies.
  • Sell retail products to walk-ins and existing clients to complement clinical plans.
  • Taking and processing payments, providing invoices, applying promotions to prices through EMR, and taking cash payments in person.

Team Collaboration & Clinic Operations

  • Collaborate with injectors and medical team on combination treatments
  • Maintain immaculate treatment rooms and efficient turnover between clients - including supporting other providers with flipping rooms as needed
  • Monitor and restock consumables, supplies, retail, and equipment
  • Support clinic cleanliness, organization, and presentation at all times
  • Stay productive during downtime (cleaning, stocking, client follow-ups, team support)
  • Attend staff meetings, formal and informal training, and events
  • Providing feedback on marketing materials and strategies to enhance outreach efforts.
  • Participating in the team meetings to share insights and strategies for improving sales performance
  • Strengthening/building partnerships with providers/businesses in the community.

Documentation, Compliance & Standards

  • Complete accurate, same-day EMR charting and treatment records
  • Follow all consent, documentation, and photo protocols
  • Maintain strict client confidentiality and privacy standards
  • Participate in audits, incident reporting, and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Minimum 2+ years experience in a medical aesthetic clinic
  • Strong experience withlaser and advanced skin treatments
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience treating a broad range of skin types and conditions
  • Knowledge of medical-grade skincare (e.g., ZO Skin Health, Skinbetter Science)
  • Experience with EMR systems (Janeapp experience is an asset)
  • Willingness to support front desk
  • Passion for the aesthetic industry and client care
  • Outgoing and passionate about working with people, with a natural ability to build rapport
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent communication skills for both clients and team members
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow through efficiently
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to respond positively to changing needs and schedules

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Repetitive arm and hand movements
  • Ability to lift up to ~25 lbs
  • Compliance with PPE and infection control standards

Pay: $21.00-$29.00 per hour
