We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Café Team Members to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities (Please read carefully)

• Previous café experience required (applications without experience will not be considered)
• Experience with espresso machines and specialty drinks
• Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages with attention to quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems and accurately handle cash and card transactions
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
• Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and maintaining cleanliness of workstations and dining areas
• Dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining overall café cleanliness are part of the role
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols at all times
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and support sales
• Support team members in maintaining an organized and efficient workspace

This is a team-based role — responsibilities are shared across all team members and are not limited to one area (e.g., barista duties only).

Availability & Requirements:

• Available to work Sundays
• Flexible availability between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Food Handler’s Certificate required before starting

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, food service, or cashiering preferred; restaurant experience is an asset
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Kitchen or food industry experience is an asset; willingness to learn is essential
