Part-Time Café Line Cook — Kits Beach Coffee
We’re looking for a part-time café line cook to join our busy beachside café team.
This role is perfect for someone who’s fast, organized, reliable, and enjoys working in a clean, high-energy kitchen environment. You’ll help execute our daily café food program including breakfast sandwiches, lunch items, prep, and supporting kitchen production.
We’re a small but very busy café with a strong team culture and well-organized systems. We’re looking for someone who works well independently, communicates clearly, and takes pride in consistency and quality.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and executing café food service during busy shifts
- Breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, salads, and prep
- Assisting with bake-off and daily kitchen production
- Portioning, labeling, stocking, and maintaining pars
- Keeping a clean, organized, and efficient station
- Following recipes, food safety standards, and kitchen systems
You bring:
- Previous café, brunch, or line cook experience
- Ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure
- Strong organization and cleanliness
- Good communication and teamwork
- Food Safe Level 1 (preferred)
- Early morning and weekend availability
The role:
- Part-time hours 18-28 per week (must be available weekdays + weekends, 5:30am–8pm)
- Morning/daytime/mid café shifts
- Fast-paced but supportive kitchen environment
