Position Overview

Powerhouse Retail Services is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level HR Recruiter to join our team for a 4-month onsite contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in Human Resources and Recruitment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with posting job openings on hiring platforms
  • Screen resumes and coordinate candidate interviews
  • Communicate with applicants throughout the hiring process
  • Support onboarding and new hire documentation
  • Maintain recruitment records and applicant tracking systems
  • Assist the HR team with administrative and recruitment-related tasks
  • Help build talent pipelines for future hiring needs

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or education in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer and administrative skills
  • Previous customer service or office experience is an asset
  • Bilingualism in French and English is preferred, but not required
