Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Sandwich Artist and Cashier, where you’ll be the friendly face that greets customers and the skilled hand behind delicious sandwiches. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine food preparation, customer service, and efficient cash handling in a fast-paced, energetic environment. You’ll play a vital part in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring every guest receives top-notch service and quality food. Duties

  • Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items following established recipes and safety standards to deliver consistent quality.
  • Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash with precision.
  • Manage food handling tasks with attention to sanitation, food safety, and proper storage to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment through regular sanitation practices.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety.
  • Handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally, resolving issues promptly to promote satisfaction and loyalty.

Experience

  • Previous food service experience in a restaurant or fast-food environment is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures.
  • Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate transaction processing.
  • Strong cash handling skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate change calculation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and restaurant operations is advantageous.
