Landscape Maintenance Supervisor ( Maintenance Captain)

Job Description: Landscape Maintenance Supervisor - “Maintenance Captain”

  • Perform landscape maintenance & enhancements ie , trimming, pruning, garden care, turf care etc.
  • leadership, support, and training for maintenance team
  • training: equipment use, horticultural decisions, site mgmt, team mgmt.
  • team building and coaching
  • onboarding
  • direction and procedures
  • crew & route changes
  • tailgate safety meetings
  • vehicle and equipment maintenance & inventory
  • material inventory
  • yard organization and housekeeping
  • customer service
  • administration and reporting
  • Other tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Full position Minimum 10 years of Landscape Maintenance Experience
  • In training potion 5-7 years of Maintenance Supervision Experience
  • Strong Landscaping and Horticultural knowledge required
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Coaching or teaching skills are an asset
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excel, Outlook, Word, database skills required
  • Customer service experience an asset
  • Landscape Certification or Diploma an asset
  • Clean G Licence required
  • Snow plowing experience an asset
  • Skidsteer skills an asset

Start Date: Immediately
