We believe that having a strong and diverse knowledge base provides opportunities for everyone on the team to move and grow their career not only on the Production floor or with Blue Falls Mfg., but also in other administrative/professional capacities and for other affiliated companies.

What's in it for you:

We recently enhanced our benefit offerings to better assist our team members and their families with everything from prescription medications and paramedical services to supporting mental health and wellness via our Employee Assistance Program. We also encourage our staff to save for their future through our RRSP matching or through our Profit Sharing program. Additionally, we support training and development through educational undertakings including through the provision of courses to in-house or by other means as appropriate.

There are 14 different areas along our assembly line (VacForm, Fiberglass, Trim, Jetting, Hosing & Clearline, Woodshop, Foam, Installs, Squaring, Pretest, Test, Doors, Finish). Production Assemblers are initially assigned to an area to start and once proficient, are moved throughout the plant facility to cross-train in additional areas.

  • Carefully spray and roll fiberglass to strengthen shells

  • Install jet fittings, lights, and options necessary to operate a spa
  • Fit every single jet fitting with air and water hoses, ensuring tight fitting hoses that do not leak
  • Construct cedar and no maintenance spa cabinets that the spa shell is installed in
  • Foam/insulate the spa cabinet
  • Install the spa control pack, pumps, heaters, sanitary generators, and stereo amplifiers (everything that makes a hot tub work)
  • Join the spa shell and cabinet, center it, and square it, connecting the two major components with foam insulation
  • Conduct pre-testing; connect all of the pumps, install jets, repair cabinet damage, stain cedar cabinets, install the topside controller, and test the electrical system for each tub
  • Test the integrity of Arctic Spa tubs to ensure a functional, complete unit
  • Build cedar and no maintenance doors to install on sides of spa cabinet
  • Add finishing touches, clean, prepare, and package Arctic Spa tub for delivery
  • Meet scheduled build demands as set by daily, weekly, and monthly orders
  • Daily reporting to area Lead Hand, Production Supervisor and the Production Manager
