Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Installer/Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong Solar technical background, hands-on experience and preferably in the electrical trade. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to renewable energy projects while working in a dynamic and safety-focused environment.

Duties

  • Install solar panels, racking systems, and electrical components according to project specifications and safety standards
  • Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, wiring, and securing solar components
  • Perform electrical work including AC and DC wiring, system testing, and troubleshooting
  • Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar arrays and equipment
  • Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on installed systems to ensure longevity and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized work site throughout each project

Experience

  • Must have experience with working at heights and operating manlifts, bucket trucks, and rigging gear
  • Electrical experience related to wiring and system troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in construction or electrical work
  • Prior experience working on renewable energy or solar installation projects is a plus but not mandatory
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to electrical work and working at heights

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
