Position Summary

Experienced Senior Painter – Join a Skilled, Supportive Team

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Painter who takes pride in quality workmanship and professionalism. If you are reliable, self-motivated, and committed to producing exceptional results, we would love to welcome you to our growing team.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven ability to plan and execute full-scale painting projects with precision and efficiency.
• Expertise in interior and exterior surface preparation, paint selection, and application techniques.
• Strong knowledge of coatings, finishes, and tools required to achieve high-quality results across various materials.
• Ability to anticipate project needs, identify solutions, and maintain timelines without compromising craftsmanship.
• Commitment to maintaining safe, clean, and organized job sites.
• Professional communication skills and a team-focused approach when working with trades, clients, and co-workers.
• Independence, accountability, and a detail-driven mindset—able to take the lead while upholding high standards.

Experience & Qualifications

• 2–5 + years of professional painting experience (required).
• Strong experience in both interior and exterior painting.
• Proficiency with paint sprayers, drywall repair, and patching.
• Ability to assess project scope, determine materials, and organize workflow for efficient job completion.
• Thorough understanding of paint types, coating systems, and proper application methods.
• Skilled in identifying potential challenges and implementing solutions to maintain quality and schedule.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing clean, consistent, professional finishes.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and maintaining hazard-free job sites.
• Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, and working outdoors during the summer months.
• Ability to commute to various job sites across the Lower Mainland.
• Driver’s licence: Required
• Trades certificate or diploma in painting: Asset.
• Wallpaper installation experience: Asset.
• Access to a vehicle is required.
• English language proficiency required.

Schedule & Work Conditions

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Occasional weekend work, scheduled in advance
• On-site work only; no remote options
• Must be able to commute/relocate to Vancouver, and Lower Mainland,B.C.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $30.00–$35.00 based on experience
• Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year (option to have vacation paid out if not taken)
