Join our customer-focused team as a Store Manager, where your leadership, empathy, and strategic mindset will shape an exceptional customer experience and inspire a high-performing team every day!
At Wellwise, we believe in empowering Canadians to age with independence and vitality.
As the Store Manager, you are the driving force behind the store’s success. You lead daily operations, champion exceptional customer service, and develop a high-performing, engaged team. Through your leadership, you cultivate a positive and inclusive store culture, foster team growth, and ensure the business consistently meets and exceeds its goals.
What You’ll Do:
As the Store Manager at Wellwise, you’ll take full ownership of the customer experience, ensuring that every interaction reflects our high standards of service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing strong leadership by hiring, training, and motivating a high-performing team.
- Providing a safe and healthy environment for both staff and customers, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Promoting Wellwise in the community by building meaningful relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, referral sources, and agencies.
- Managing daily store operations efficiently, including inventory control, administration, accounting, and loss prevention while ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Executing marketing and merchandising programs, including retail pricing, Planograms, promotional flyers, and advertising strategies.
- Identifying and implementing sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Leading contract execution and service delivery where applicable.
- Assisting in the development of annual business plans and financial projections.
- Creating and maintaining an inclusive workplace that values diversity and fosters a sense of belonging among team members.
What You Bring:
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop talent at all levels.
- A consistent track record of surpassing retail performance targets.
- Strong financial skills, with the ability to manage expenses and increase profitability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive approach to community engagement and business development.
- Solid understanding of marketing principles and retail merchandising.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with funding agencies and their requirements (an asset, but not required).
- At Wellwise, we are committed to equity and accessibility. Accommodations are available upon request for applicants and employees with disabilities.
Why Join Us?
This is more than just a retail job—it’s a chance to empower individuals with the tools they need to live life to the fullest. We provide training, support, and a welcoming environment where your voice is heard, and your growth is supported. As a valued member of our staff, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, wellbeing, and work-life balance as well as the company’s Incentive Plan Bonus.
