Pay: CA$20.00 - CA$25.00 per hour

Residential and Commercial Appliance Delivery

ACL Logistics Inc. was formed in 2018 and is a contracting trucking company specializing in home appliance delivery for builders, designers, and homeowners.

ACL Logistics Inc. strives to provide superior service for all customers while maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.

Drivers and swampers must safely deliver appliances to customers and builders in Edmonton and surrounding areas on time, while positively representing the company. Drivers must have 5-ton driving experience. Swampers do not require driving experience.

Responsibilities

· Load, unload, and move appliances using basic product handling equipment. This includes existing homes, new builds and commercial properties.

· Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles and ensure that all products are loaded correctly and appropriately

· Manage routes and accompanying paperwork provided for the day

· Prepare sites and properties to ensure a safe delivery and minimize damages

· Document delivery statuses and track route progression

· Report damages and delivery complications requiring follow-up attention to operations managers and site supervisors

Requirements and Qualifications

- Drivers must have a valid class 5 driver's license, and 5 ton driving experience.

- Adherence to all safety policies and procedures

- Physically fit with the ability to maneuver and transport large and heavy items (>100lbs)

- Professional appearance and a positive attitude

- Strong organizational and time management skills, and confident in problem-solving or troubleshooting

- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to establish strong working and customer relationships

- Basic knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas

- Experience in delivering and/or moving appliances or other large items is a major asset.

Job Type: Shift Work

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
