Position Title:

Outside Sales Representative

Pacific West Systems Supply Ltd. “PacWest” as we are commonly known, employs product specialists in Drywall, Insulation, Steel, Stucco and Ceiling Systems. Our growth over the past four decades has been based on our competitive pricing and delivery service capability, which is a leader in our industry.

The role incorporates maintaining the current customer base as well as establishing new business and develop relationships. This includes pricing, business development, customer service and relationship building.

Purpose and Responsibilities of the Salesperson

The Sales Representative is responsible for providing high quality service and will report directly to the VP Sales.

Tasks and results for this position include:

  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential and commercial markets
  • Represent the full PacWest product offering to customers and contractors
  • Collaborate with the VP Sales to develop and execute growth strategies
  • Conduct joint sales calls with manufacturer partners
  • Track performance against sales targets and goals
  • Maintain organized records of contracts, pricing, and customer activity

Preferred Skills and Work Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of provincial building code is an asset
  • Demonstrated success in sales in areas within a fast-paced, and competitive market. Must be hands-on and a team player.
  • Demonstrated success conducting comprehensive needs analysis, organization design and development initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient use of various software tools including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power BI is an asset.
