Full job description

The Warehouse Worker supports daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment, including receiving, processing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This role performs a variety of warehouse functions such as receiving, order selecting, and general warehouse support while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Follow Bunzl standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and operational best practices.
  • Complete cycle counts, activity walks, and empty-bin walks daily.
  • Meet Bunzl Standard KPI Goals. (Hiring Manager to Elaborate)
  • Operate warehouse equipment including order pickers, reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and pallet jacks (training provided).
  • Pick and prepare customer orders; wrap and load pallets for local and out‑of‑town deliveries.
  • Accurately receive and stage inbound products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Assist team members and support warehouse operations as directed by leadership.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse and forklift operation experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work overtime as business needs require.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.
  • Ability to lift 25kg to 55+ lbs. and perform repeated physical tasks.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 26 feet (training and equipment provided).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work safely in accordance with company safety policies and applicable occupational health and safety legislation.
  • RF scanner experience is an asset.
