Premiere Vancouver Island Spa Destination Hiring Laundry Attendants

Kingfisher Pacific Resort and Spa is an award-winning destination nestled in a stunning oceanfront setting. Renowned for its panoramic views, exceptional amenities, and commitment to genuine hospitality, the resort offers guests a rejuvenating escape with world-class spa experiences, exquisite dining, and breathtaking natural surroundings. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent service excellence in support of the overall guest experience,
  • Dry, fold, and organize linens to resort standards
  • Ensure adequate inventory of clean linens is available at all times
  • Load and unload laundry machines efficiently
  • Transport linens, supplies, and equipment between areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
  • Assist with guest requests as needed

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and cleaning skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a positive, team-first attitude
  • Physically capable of:
  • Lifting and carrying 30–40 lbs repeatedly
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Performing repetitive tasks (lifting, folding, loading machines)
  • Climbing multiple flights of stairs throughout a shift
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous housekeeping or laundry experience is an asset, but not required

At the Kingfisher, we operate as a team, and are looking for the right person to complement our family. The right candidate will work well as part of a team, being flexible and willing to jump in where needed. The ideal candidate will live reasonably nearby the resort, and will have flexibility to occasionally come to work on short notice.
