Location: Atlin & Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Salary: CAD $100,000–$120,000 per year, based on experience

Schedule: Approximately 50% Atlin / 50% Vancouver
Housing: Company-provided staff housing during rotations in Atlin

We are seeking a Community Relations Representative to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining strong, respectful, and trusted relationships with local communities connected to our mining operations.

This position combines community relations, communications, digital marketing, and stakeholder engagement, providing an opportunity to work directly with residents of Atlin and citizens of the Taku River Tlingit First Nation (TRT).

The successful candidate will serve as an important link between the Company and the local community, helping foster open dialogue around exploration activities, environmental stewardship, project developments, and community priorities.

This role will be based approximately 50% in Atlin and 50% at our Vancouver head office. Priority will be given to candidates who can spend 100% of their time in Atlin and who are citizens of the Taku River Tlingit First Nation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary local point of contact for Atlin residents and TRT members.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships through open, respectful, and transparent communication.
  • Facilitate dialogue regarding exploration activities, environmental stewardship, and community priorities.
  • Develop engaging written and visual content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Highlight the Company's corporate responsibility initiatives and key project milestones.
  • Prepare press releases, community newsletters, project updates, and other external communications.
  • Communicate information related to company activities, project timelines, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support effective communication and coordination between the Company's Vancouver and Atlin operations.
  • Work effectively within a rotational schedule between Vancouver and Atlin.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in community relations, communications, digital marketing, public relations, or the natural resources sector.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing professional social media platforms and creating digital content.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and diplomatic skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in culturally sensitive environments.
  • Genuine respect for Indigenous history, rights, sovereignty, and community priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to work approximately 50/50 between Vancouver and Atlin, British Columbia.

Assets and Preferred Qualifications

The following will be considered strong assets:

  • Citizenship in the Taku River Tlingit First Nation (TRT).
  • Ability to work and reside 100% in Atlin.
  • Experience in mining, mineral exploration, or the natural resources sector.
  • Previous experience working with Indigenous communities or in Indigenous relations.
  • Experience creating content and managing professional social media channels.
  • Familiarity with community engagement and stakeholder relations.

Compensation & Benefits

  • CAD $100,000–$120,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience.
