  • This role requires rotating shifts between 7:00 am - 9:00 pm. The exact schedule will be confirmed.

The Team You’ll Be Part Of:

The Security Representative Acts as representative for Corporate Security's full range of assets, information, and personnel protection services. This position will serve as a first responder to all event management incidents for all Fidelity Canada locations

How You’ll Make An Impact:

  • Renders first responder services to all emergencies and incidents, within the scope of training. These include, but are not limited to medical emergencies, unauthorized entry, facility evacuations, unlawful acts and mental health situations.
  • Conducts focused and general patrols and audits of Fidelity space to verify compliance with policies. Ensures working order of security devices, safety of work areas and ensure the safety and protection of people
  • Performs administrative and processing functions at security badging station, to include customer verification, badge creation, and access control processing. Assists with customer service requests relating to physical access to facilities.
  • Prepares written reports of incidents, using various computer applications to document safety hazards, report incidents, communicate with supervisors. Uses security devices and resources to support incident investigation and operational efforts.
  • Assists with other security coverage as required
  • Fosters positive relationships with key stakeholders

What We Are Looking For:

  • 2+ years of work experience in a corporate security position with customer service experience required.
  • 2-year post-secondary program completed, or equivalent work experience required.
  • License(s) as per PSISA (Private Security and Investigative Services Act) required
  • Prior exposure to security technology or systems is an asset
  • Technical knowledge of basic security practices/principles required
  • Possesses first responder certifications
  • Ability to perform first responder activities in medical/facility emergency situations
  • Ability to interact and communicate with the general public., vendors, and Fidelity business units
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise written incident reports

  • Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $60,000 to $81,000 based on your experience and qualifications.
  • RRSP Contribution: After 6 months of employment, we invest in your future with an RRSP contribution—no employee matching required.
