Full-Time Medical Aesthetician and Clinic Administrator

About the Role

Le Miracle Skin Clinic is a growing medical aesthetics clinic in Ottawa seeking an experienced, passionate, and energetic Medical Aesthetician who can also assist with Clinic Administrator responsibilities, depending on the clinic’s schedule and level of activity.

This is a full-time position for someone who is confident performing advanced aesthetic treatments, providing exceptional customer service, conducting professional skin consultations, and recommending appropriate treatments and products based on each client’s skin condition and goals.

During quieter clinical periods, the successful candidate will support the administrative side of the clinic, including appointment bookings, client follow-ups, customer inquiries, record management, and front-desk operations.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can contribute from day one. This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of hands-on medical aesthetics experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesMedical Aesthetics and Client Care

• Perform professional skincare treatments, including facials, microneedling, microchanneling, chemical peels, laser hair removal, and other advanced skin procedures
• Conduct thorough skin consultations confidently and efficiently
• Assess clients’ skin conditions, concerns, medical history, and treatment goals
• Develop personalized treatment plans and explain recommendations clearly
• Educate clients about treatment expectations, aftercare, homecare routines, and appropriate skincare products
• Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after every appointment
• Follow up with clients regarding treatment progress, concerns, future appointments, and recommended treatment plans
• Recommend and sell suitable skincare products and treatment packages
• Maintain accurate treatment notes and client records
• Follow strict sanitation, infection-control, and hygiene standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully prepared treatment rooms

Clinic Administration and Front-Desk Support

Depending on the clinic’s schedule and level of activity, the candidate will also be responsible for:

• Managing appointment bookings, cancellations, rescheduling, and confirmations
• Responding professionally to telephone calls, emails, social media inquiries, and client messages
• Completing customer follow-ups and helping clients schedule their next appointments
• Managing client records and consent forms
• Processing payments and supporting retail product sales
• Providing clients with information about clinic services, promotions, packages, and policies
• Supporting the clinic’s daily administrative and operational needs
• Maintaining a professional, welcoming, and organized reception environment
• Assisting with inventory monitoring and product organization when required

The clinic uses Jane App for appointment scheduling and client management. Experience using Jane App is strongly preferred; however, training can be provided to the right candidate.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Aesthetician diploma or recognized professional certification
• High school diploma
• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience working as a Medical Aesthetician
• Demonstrated experience performing advanced skincare treatments, including chemical peels, microneedling, facials, and similar procedures
• Previous hands-on experience with laser hair removal
• Strong knowledge of skin types, skin conditions, treatment contraindications, aftercare, and professional skincare products
• Excellent customer service skills
• Superior verbal and oral communication skills
• Confidence conducting skin consultations and recommending suitable treatments
• Ability to explain treatment plans, packages, products, and pricing clearly and professionally
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities
• Comfortable handling administrative and front-desk responsibilities
• Professional, reliable, energetic, and passionate about the medical aesthetics industry
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced clinic environment

Additional Skills We Value

• Previous experience using Jane App or similar clinic-management software
• Experience with retail sales, package sales, upselling, and product demonstrations
• Strong telephone communication and appointment-booking skills
• Experience managing customer inquiries and client follow-ups
• Knowledge of body and facial waxing
• Experience with additional beauty or aesthetic services
• Ability to build long-term relationships with clients and support client retention
• Confidence presenting treatment packages without using high-pressure sales techniques

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wage of $19 per hour
