Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Landscape Crew Member to join our team. This role involves a mix of landscape construction, maintenance, and civil site work, offering a well-rounded opportunity for individuals looking to build experience across multiple areas of the industry.

You will work alongside experienced team members on a variety of projects, contributing to both new installations and ongoing property maintenance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, takes pride in quality results, and is looking for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with landscape installations including sod, planting, garden beds, patios, walkways, and retaining walls
  • Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, mulching, and seasonal clean-ups
  • Support civil and site work including excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and granular placement
  • Prepare and level surfaces, ensuring proper base preparation and compaction
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, compactors, skid steers, and small tools
  • Assist around heavy equipment, including spotting and general site support
  • Load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and ensure work is completed to company standards
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in landscaping, construction, civil work, or general labour is an asset
  • Experience with equipment (skid steer, compactor, mini excavator) is an asset
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a team environment
  • Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
  • Comfortable lifting and handling materials
  • Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
  • Clean G Class driver’s license (preferred but not required)
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
