Senior Dental Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator

In-person | Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29–$33 per hour (based on experience)

Hours: 32–37 hours per week

About the Role

We have already filled one receptionist position, this is an additional position we are looking to fill as our team grows and we add providers! We are a well-established, patient-focused dental practice seeking an experienced Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator who can confidently manage the flow of a busy office while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

This role is ideal for a seasoned dental receptionist who takes ownership, thrives in a structured environment, and understands the importance of both efficiency and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience
  • Manage a busy schedule, optimizing appointment flow and provider productivity
  • Coordinate treatment plans and clearly communicate with patients
  • Handle insurance submissions, estimates, and direct billing
  • Oversee accounts receivable (A/R) and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and proactive front desk

  • Minimum 2+ years of dental reception experience required
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance workflows
  • Proven ability to manage A/R and insurance confidently and independently
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with digital systems and practice management software

  • Bilingual (English/French) preferred
