Job Description: Scrum Master / Agile Coach

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to support our development teams in adopting Agile methodologies, optimizing processes, and delivering high-quality business value. In this role, you will act as a servant-leader and coach, working closely with a Senior Scrum Master to facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a psychologically safe environment.

The ideal candidate balances strong Agile coaching capabilities with practical project management skills, helping the team align its daily activities with broader organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Scrum Master in organizing and facilitating core Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and Product Demos.

  • Act as a coach to help the team solve complex problems and cultivate a robust, sustainable Agile mindset.

  • Mentor and coach new Scrum Masters across the company to build organizational Agile maturity.

  • Identify process challenges and inefficiencies; proactively lead initiatives to optimize team workflows.

  • Drive positive change both at the immediate working team level and with external stakeholders.

  • Guide the team through roadblocks using a supportive, collaborative approach.

  • Fulfill essential project management duties, including resource coordination, activity planning, and scheduling.

  • Monitor team progress, tracking and reporting status and key metrics against goals on an ongoing basis.

  • Assist Product Owners and development teams with release planning and the continuous maintenance of release and sprint backlogs.

  • Build a trusting, safe environment where team members can raise problems without fear of blame, retribution, or judgment, focusing instead on healing and collaborative problem-solving.

  • Help teams achieve immediate sprint and project goals while maintaining awareness of, and sensitivity to, overall business objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 8+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach within a software development or project delivery team.

  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and project management fundamentals.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate resources, build project schedules, and analyze delivery metrics.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate conversations at both the team level and with external stakeholders.

  • Exceptional empathy and conflict-resolution skills dedicated to building safe, collaborative team environments
