Full job description

Spier & Mackay is looking for a highly organized and proactive Senior Retail Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution and operations of our retail stores. This role is ideal for someone with strong retail coordination experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance store operations, communication, merchandising execution, staffing coordination, and operational support across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solution-driven, and able to keep retail operations running efficiently while maintaining the elevated customer experience and brand standards Spier & Mackay is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily retail operational tasks across store locations
  • Support store openings, launches, and operational rollouts
  • Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling support, onboarding, and internal communication
  • Monitor inventory movement, stock replenishment, and store supply needs
  • Ensure stores maintain visual merchandising and operational standards aligned with brand guidelines
  • Work closely with retail leadership to improve operational efficiency and customer experience
  • Coordinate shipping, transfers, and inventory-related communication between stores and warehouse teams
  • Support promotional execution, markdowns, and seasonal retail initiatives
  • Assist with retail reporting, sales tracking, and operational analysis
  • Troubleshoot store-level operational issues and escalate when necessary
  • Help maintain retail procedures, documentation, and operational consistency across locations

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of retail operations, retail coordination, or store management experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with shifting priorities
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and store initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory flow, and customer service standards
  • Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets and retail systems
  • Menswear or fashion retail experience is considered a strong asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
