Operations Manager, Fulfillment

Job Description

The Operations Manager, Fulfillment is responsible for the daily execution of PixMob’s physical projects globally. This role leads the transition of high-level event designs and signed contracts into concrete and flawless operational outputs. The Operations Manager, Fulfillment manages the execution of the "Fulfillment Plan," ensuring every live event project is prepped, branded, custom-grouped, and programmed with 100% accuracy and delivered on time. The position requires active, hands-on leadership of the Operational Areas, balancing temporary labor fluctuations, and maintaining operational alignment across global hubs. You serve as a core operational link between Sales, Production, and logistics units to safeguard critical dock dates.

Key Responsibilities

Execution of the Fulfillment Plan

  • Timeline Accountability: Direct the execution framework for all global project fulfillment timelines from initial contract validation to post-event venue collection.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a primary operational point of contact for Sales, Production to review project timelines, monitor lead times, and resolve immediate fulfillment roadblocks.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle daily capacity constraints, rush orders, or sudden modifications to the active fulfillment schedule, implementing immediate risk-mitigation options to minimize impact on event delivery.

Production Line & Workshop Operations

  • Montreal Workshop Supervision: Directly manage Montreal Workshop lines, ensuring optimal workflows for branding, custom product grouping, and device programming.

  • Labor Scheduling & Resource Management: Manage scheduling and utilization of the Workshop team, scaling temporary labor efficiently during peak playoff or festival rushes.
  • SOP and QA Enforcement: Implement and strictly enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and rigorous quality assurance protocols to guarantee a zero-defect rate in pixel customization.

Hub Support & Process Maintenance

  • International Hub Alignment: Oversee and coordinate execution units across international hubs (including the European Hub unit), ensuring standardized project preparation and preventing time-zone operational delays.

  • Localization Support: Assist in executing plans to support custom branding capabilities directly within regional hubs to drastically reduce freight lead times.
  • Pick and Pack Engineering: Partner with warehouse management to maintain and optimize specialized picking, packing, and staging paths for high-velocity project orders to compress ship-to-dock cycle times.

Team Management & Development

  • Floor Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support direct reports, including the Workshop Floor Lead, Fulfillment Specialists, and Project Coordinators.

  • Performance Tracking: Establish individual performance goals, conduct structured feedback loops, and support team member skill-mapping and internal growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in project fulfillment, production line operations management, or demand planning (Live Events, electronics, or fast-paced manufacturing preferred). Looking for a leader who has a wealth of experience, deep expertise, and a proven track record in managing people, projects, or operations.
  • Systems & Process Skills: High proficiency with ERP software (Rootstock preferred) and modern Project Management tools; solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma practices.
  • Core Competencies: Calm under pressure; strong ability to manage tight daily deadlines; effective communication and cross-departmental coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required for collaboration with international suppliers and colleagues.
