I Clean Things, or I.C.T., is an industrial, and commercial janitorial service organization.

We employ members of the community who have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. This position is overseen by our General Manager, but you will be working on your own and managing your own responsibilities with the standard reporting required.

We are seeking mature candidates for a evening position in Wainfleet, Ontario. We understand compensation and benefits are often the first thing an applicant will review. Rather than placing these at the bottom, like most, allow us to show you what makes us different right from the start.

Compensation:

Starting wage of $18.00-$20.00 per hour; with the intention of increasing wages for committed employees. The increase will be discussed after the 3-month probationary period.

This is a part-time position of 7.5 hours every other week. We offer paid breaks.

Position Summary:

Light to Medium Cleaning –Provide reliable and reputable janitorial services and distribute supplies to our customers. Including, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, removal of rubbish, and recycling. Standard reporting is required but training will be provided.

A basic understanding of math and time management skills are required. We happily employ those with a limited understanding of English. We are comfortable working with you through a translation app or other resources. Please indicate this in your application.

Physical Demands:

While reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities, the ability to lift reasonable amounts is required. (50 lbs Maximum) These positions require a great deal of movement, and an ability to complete physical tasks in a timely manner is expected.

Requirements:

 Own transportation (Reliable Transportation)

 Police Check Certified (This is required with position acceptance; we will reimburse you for the cost if not current.)

 WHIMIS (Training is Provided)

 Health and Safety Awareness (Training is Provided)

 First Aid is not a requirement but an asset
